What clients say about working with us
These are accounts from people who came to Rom Pho with pension concerns — some straightforward, some more involved. We share them as they are, without embellishment.

"I had been trying to understand a letter from the Social Security Office for two months before a friend suggested I call Rom Pho. The consultation was not what I expected — it was genuinely calm. Krit listened to the whole story, then explained what the letter actually meant and what I could do about it. I left feeling like the situation was manageable, which I had not felt in a long time."
"My pension payment was suspended without explanation and I did not know where to turn. Rom Pho handled the dispute response for me. I was kept informed at each stage, which made a big difference. The process took about six weeks and the suspension was lifted. I would have found it much harder to manage that on my own."
"I signed up for the Continuous Support Package because my case looked like it would take a while to resolve. Having Nattaporn as my named contact throughout made the whole thing much less stressful. She knew the case inside out each time I called, so I never had to re-explain things. It took nearly four months in total but the outcome was what we were aiming for."
"The written summary they gave me after the consultation was genuinely useful. I brought my son to the meeting and we could both refer back to it afterwards when we were deciding what to do next. I appreciated that there was no pressure to book anything else on the day."
"I had some initial hesitation about the fee for the first consultation, but it was worth it. The advice was specific to my situation, not general. I came with a question about whether I was entitled to something and left with a clear answer. That clarity was what I needed more than anything."
"As a foreign national who has worked and paid into the Thai social security system for many years, I was unsure whether I had any pension entitlements and what the process would be for accessing them. Rom Pho handled my case with patience and were clear about timelines. I am now receiving what I was entitled to."
A closer look at three cases
Names and identifying details have been changed. The circumstances and outcomes are as they occurred.
A retired teacher unsure of her entitlement
A 64-year-old retired teacher from the provinces had received correspondence from the Social Security Office suggesting her pension entitlement might be lower than expected. She did not understand why and was anxious about her income.
We reviewed her full contribution history, identified a clerical error in how her years of service had been recorded, and explained clearly what the correct calculation should be. A written summary was provided within two days.
Armed with the summary and our advice, she was able to approach the Social Security Office directly and have the error corrected. Her pension was adjusted to the correct amount within three weeks. The consultation was the only service needed.
"I came in feeling confused and left feeling that things were actually manageable. The written note they gave me was exactly what I needed to show the office what had gone wrong."
A pension suspended without clear reason
A 71-year-old retired civil servant in Bangkok stopped receiving his monthly pension payment with no prior notice. Three weeks later he received a brief letter referencing a compliance matter. He had no idea what it referred to.
We reviewed the letter, identified that the suspension appeared to be triggered by outdated records, and prepared a formal written response to the Government Pension Fund with supporting documentation. We submitted on his behalf and followed up directly.
The suspension was lifted after 38 days. Arrears were paid in full. Total time from our first meeting to resolution: six weeks. The client described the experience as less stressful than he had expected once the matter was in our hands.
A family navigating a complex multi-stage appeal
A family contacted us after their late mother's pension entitlement had been disputed by a former employer. The employer was contesting the number of eligible years of contribution. The case involved documents going back more than two decades.
We took on the case under the Continuous Support Package, researched and assembled the historical employment records, prepared a comprehensive submission to the relevant appeal body, and represented the family at the formal hearing.
After approximately four and a half months, the appeal was upheld. The full pension entitlement was awarded. The family said having a single person who knew the entire case file made the process feel far less overwhelming than they had feared.
